Moving
AT&T to shut downtown San Francisco retailer – NBC Bay Space

The exodus from downtown continued on Thursday as another San Francisco flagship store closed its doors.
Telecom company AT&T announced Thursday that it would close its Union Square branch on August 1.
A spokesman said consumers’ shopping habits have changed and they need to change with them.
All affected employees will be offered jobs at various locations throughout the city
AT&T isn’t the only telecom giant making similar moves from downtown San Francisco.
Last month, T-Mobile closed its Union Square store.
Overall, more than a dozen national retailers have left San Francisco so far this year.
