Zane Phillips’ hunky handyman photoshoot has followers begging for him to plaster them

Someone is calling Ty Pennington because we suddenly feel the urge for an extreme home makeover after seeing Zane Phillips in this stunning new photoshoot.

Perhaps sensing the collective concern over the upcoming midterm elections this week, the handsome Legacies and Fire Islands star helped quell our worst Sunday angst as he shared a series of new photos by photographer Raphaël Chatelain this weekend.

In paint-covered trousers and surrounded by bags of mortar, Phillips conveys a very dope vibe, very DIY. But if the star really “does it himself”, then we will help voluntarily!

What can we say, he looks ready to get to work! And considering Phillips posted the pics just days after Disney’s planned live-action Hercules was back in the news, maybe he just wanted to remind us that he’s more than capable of slipping into the chiseled demigod’s sandals Hatch.

The Internet, for its part, loses it over the spread. Even the Instagram comments section is a sight to behold, with a true who’s who of gay hunks chiming in to make their thirsty puns. “Plast me,” jokes Phillips’ Fire Island co-star Nick Adams. “Hello sir, I have some putty for you,” adds Vaughn Vreeland, a New York Times chef personality.

And Broadway star Andrew Keenan-Bolger is all of us with his comment: “Suddenly great interest in apartment renovations.”

Of course, these photos made their way to Twitter, where people are just as rabid. For example:

I think Zane Phillips could be the most beautiful person who ever walked the earth.

And while we certainly appreciate the momentary pause from *movements* of everything, we also love that Phillips knows there are far more important things to do. Taking to his Instagram Story, the actor shared an Out magazine article about the photoshoot – one with the caption that says he “wants you to see him sweat” – and delightfully added, “Okay lol but actually I just want you to vote.”

That’s right Zane! Use this platform – and all this attention – to get gay people to the polls!
