* WHAT… For wind recommendation Northwesterly winds of 25 to 35 mph
Gusts up to 60mph expected at higher elevations. For the
Freeze Watch, temperatures below freezing are as low as 29 degrees
expected.
* WHERE…Inner areas of the North Bay Mountains and Valleys,
the East Bay Hills and Valleys, the Santa Clara Valley, the
Santa Cruz Mountains and the interior of Monterey and San Benito
Counties including the Southern Salinas Valley
* WHEN… For the wind advisory from 1pm to 1pm this afternoon
PST Wednesday. For the Freeze Watch, starting late Wednesday evening
until Thursday morning.
* EFFECTS… Gusty winds can sweep around unsecured objects.
Branches may be blown over and a few power outages may occur
Result. Freezing and freezing conditions could kill crops, others
sensitive vegetation and may damage outdoors if left unprotected
