ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a handyman on Sunday for stealing $11,090 worth of jewelry from a customer, according to an arrest document.

Instead, Catalano took six gold chains and two gold rings while the victims were not at home, the affidavit said. The jewelry is said to have been kept in different locations in a large bedroom closet.
MPs said after being read his rights, Catalano admitted stealing the jewelry.
According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect sold the jewelry to local businesses for cash to fund his drug addiction.
He was sent to prison for grand larceny.
