Spartanburg-based OTO Improvement acquires AC Resort by Marriott St. Petersburg Downtown

OTO Development, a hotel development and hospitality management company based in Spartanburg, has purchased AC Hotel by Marriott St. Petersburg Downtown in St. Petersburg, Florida, for an undisclosed sum, the company announced Feb. 28.

This eight-story AC Hotel, which opened on Feb. 28, features:

  • 172 guest rooms
  • 2,500 square feet of shared space
  • 1,800 square feet of meeting and event space
  • Fitness center
  • Outdoor pool

The AC Hotel is also home to Cane & Barrel, a Cuban-inspired rooftop restaurant and bar.
