Sonoma County Opens Most Authorities Places of work After Transfer To Orange Tier – CBS San Francisco
SANTA ROSA (BCN) – Sonoma County reopened most of its government offices on Monday after moving into the orange tier of the COVID-19 reopening state business system.
District offices overseeing regional parks, permits, public works, child support services, and tax collection are among those that have reopened with limited hours. According to district officials, each department will have its own schedule during the week.

Sonoma County moved to the orange category on April 6th, allowing office workers to return to work in person without changes and without capacity constraints.
Masking and social distancing guidelines are mandatory in every reopening office, according to the county.

“During the pandemic, our employees never stopped working for our residents,” said Sheryl Bratton, Sonoma County administrator. “Many were just doing their work remotely, while others were working on site to perform important functions. We look forward to seeing people again – mask by mask. “
