SFPD Arrests 5 Males Throughout NorCal In Connection With Dwelling-Invasion Theft Spree In San Francisco

San Francisco Police today announced the arrest of five suspects allegedly responsible for a series of at least three home robberies in the Ingleside neighborhood.

The three raids occurred in August and September, and the department has issued search warrants and arrests in several locations in the Bay Area and beyond over the past two weeks. The five suspects were named Devontae Rutherford, 26, of Richmond, 37-year-old George Redmond of Richmond, 27-year-old Adrian Landers of Elk Grove, 39-year-old Travis Fields of Stockton, and 25. identified -year-old Marvin Williams of Antioch.

The three armed robberies believed to have committed the suspects occurred in the middle of the day on August 3, August 9 and September 2, house robberies in the San Francisco Bay Area. “

At around 12:12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, San Francisco police officers at Ingleside Station on the 500 block on Sunnydale Avenue responded to a report of a home robbery. The officers arrived on site and met with the two victims, an 81-year-old woman and an 81-year-old man. The victims told officials that the suspects had already fled their homes. Officials questioned the victims, who said three suspects had broken into their homes. The female victim said that one of the suspects aimed a firearm at the victims while the other two suspects were walking through the victims’ home. The perpetrators took cash and jewelry and fled the house. The victims were not injured during the incident. At around 2:20 p.m. on Monday, August 9, 2021, police officers from Taraval Station in San Francisco on the 100 block of Louisburg Street answered for a report of a home robbery. The officers arrived on site and met with the victims, a 62-year-old man, a 23-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man. The 62-year-old victim told officers the suspects broke into his garage, physically restrained him and forced him into the house where the suspects found the other victims. A suspect then hit the victim with a gun, injuring them. The suspects forced all victims into a room while the other suspects ransacked their homes and stole US currency, jewelry and other items. The suspects then fled in a vehicle. The victim, who was hit with a gun, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Interpreting services were not requested. The fourth suspect was not seen in the house. At around 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021, San Francisco police officers at Ingleside Station on the 600 block on Paris Street answered for a report of a home robbery. The officers arrived on site and met with the victim, a 43-year-old man. The victim said he was in his room when an unidentified male suspect entered and pointed a gun at him. The suspect held the victim at gunpoint while two other suspects searched the victim’s home. The suspects took away jewelry and watches before escaping the house.

All five people were charged with first-degree robbery and burglary, with crime reforms added.
