San Francisco’s iconic ‘Pink Painted Woman’ residence on the market

A Victorian-style home known as the “Pink Painted Lady,” part of the iconic “Painted Ladies” row of houses in San Francisco, is for sale for $3.55 million.

The seven colorful homes unique to the city were built in the 1890s and made famous in countless movies and the TV sitcom “Full House.”

The property is a work in progress. The home was purchased in 2020 with plans to restore the two-unit building. Permits were approved for an upper unit with five bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms, measuring 2,996 square feet. The lower level plan includes an 845 square foot unit with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a separate entrance.

The house features oversized window bays on each level with views of City Hall and the downtown skyline.
