San Francisco Suburb Of Atherton Stays Nation’s Most Costly Zip Code; Median House Sale Worth At $7,475,000 – CBS Dallas / Fort Price

ATHERTON (CBS SF) – According to PropertyShark’s annual survey, Atherton remains the country’s most expensive zip code for the fifth year in a row, with average home sales prices of $ 7.475 million.

Residents of the Silicon Valley community include Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, Whatsapp founder Jan Koum, former Google boss Eric Schmidt, former British Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Fox News populist Steve Hilton.

It’s the hometown of tech billionaires, entertainment heavyweights, and venture capitalists.

“With a new average selling price of $ 7,475,000, Athertons 94027 remains the most expensive zip code in the US for the fifth year in a row – nearly $ 2 million ahead of runner-up,” the real estate firm said in a news release. “Not only that, the billionaire favorite also saw an average increase of 7% year on year, suggesting that this exclusive enclave could maintain its leadership position well into the future.”

Overall, San Francisco has the highest concentration of expensive zip codes, while the entire Bay Area has 47 of the most exclusive zip codes in the country.

Other Bay Area parishes in the top 12 included: Marin County parish Ross, ranked 4th with $ 4.583 million; Los Altos ranks 9th with $ 4.052 million and Palo Alto ranks 12th with $ 3.8 million. ‘
