Nationals, Cardinals shifting to full capability in June | Information, Sports activities, Jobs

ST. LOUIS (AP) – The St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Nationals will once again be at full capacity.

Washington said Wednesday that Nationals Park will be 100% going, starting with a game against San Francisco on June 10th.

The Cardinals will play 100% against Miami at Busch Stadium from June 14th.

St. Louis dropped its mask requirement for fully vaccinated fans on May 14th. The Cardinals will have limited seating in pods for home games through June 9th.

Only Texas among the 30 major league teams started 100% this season after fans were banned from admission due to the coronavirus pandemic last year. Atlanta was at full capacity on May 7th.

Others making the season switch include Arizona (May 25), Cincinnati (June 2). Washington (June 11), Philadelphia (June 12), Milwaukee (June 25), and Minnesota (July 5).

Additionally, New York State’s New York Yankees and Mets will be allowed to operate at 100% capacity starting Wednesday, but only for sections with vaccinated fans.
