MSU basketball coach Tom Izzo delivers shifting speech at candlelight vigil
It’s been a tough few days for Spartans around the world, and that includes Tom Izzo, Michigan State’s men’s basketball head coach.
Izzo was one of many affected and injured by Monday night’s mass shooting on campus that killed three students. These three students were honored Wednesday night during a candlelight vigil at The Rock on the Michigan State campus. The vigil was followed by speeches from a variety of figures, from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to student leaders to Izzo.
