Man arrested after stabbing on SF Muni bus Wednesday night

According to police, a man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed another man on a Muni bus in the Excelsior neighborhood of San Francisco on Wednesday night. The 18-year-old suspect was arrested after the stabbing was reported around 6:35 p.m. in the Geneva Avenue and Stoneridge Lane area. His name was not immediately available Thursday.

The 46-year-old victim was taken to a hospital for treatment for his injuries, which are believed to be life-threatening, police said. No further details about the stabbing were released.
