John Stamos Has No Time For Full Home Theme Music Whereas In San Francisco
John Stamos doesn’t have time to sing the icon Full house Spin off while in San Francisco. Best known for playing Uncle Jesse Katsopolis on the family sitcom, he reprized the role during the show’s revival on Netflix, Fuller House. Now, however, it looks like he’s bid farewell to the Full House franchise entirely.
While driving through San Francisco, Stamos had some strong words for former co-star and real-life friend Josh Peck when he started singing the Full House theme song. Watch the clip below:
While Stamos kept a straight face throughout the Full House-inspired video, it’s likely he was just joking. The fact that Peck even posted it on social media suggests it’s probably just a little bit.
Why Stamos will never do a full-house spinoff again
At Fuller House, Jesse and his wife Becky raised two adult children in Alex and Nicky when they adopted a daughter named Pamela. Unfortunately, due to Lori Loughlin’s incarceration, Fuller House never got a chance to properly wrap up the couple’s story. Given the ongoing call for another Full House spin-off, this could be the premise of one.
That said, Stamos has recently been vocal about not wanting to revisit the Full House franchise following the tragic and untimely death of Bob Saget. So, even as a Fuller House follow-up moves forward, don’t expect Uncle Jesse to be a mainstay or maybe even show up. Perhaps the universe can expand through a different narrative that doesn’t mandate an appearance from the Katsopolises.
For now, fans can relive Stamos’ best bits as Uncle Jesse Full house and Fuller House, both of which are available through streaming websites. Whether he will change his mind in the future is uncertain. But now the actor is ready to move away from the Tanners.
