Jimmy Garoppolo is new Raiders quarterback: report

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Jimmy Garoppolo is the new quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders, according to a report by the NFL Network.
Garoppolo, a free agent who was injured while playing for the San Francisco 49ers in 2022, is said to have signed a 3-year, $67.5 million contract with the Raiders.
Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints agree to four-year contract
The report points out that $34 million of the deal is guaranteed. The agreement will reunite Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels, Garoppolo’s offensive coordinator with the New England Patriots, with Garoppolo, who began his pro career with New England.
On March 6, former Raiders QB Derek Carr signed a four-year contract with the New Orleans Saints.
