Ivy Magnificence Donates $20K To Construct NYC for Juneteenth

Ivy Beauty, the parent company of Kiss New York Professional, Red by Kiss, i-envy and Ruby Kisses, has donated to Build NYC — a nonprofit that supports local youth — in celebration of Juneteenth.
Build is dedicated to addressing educational and socioeconomic disparities nationwide, focusing on cities where achievement and opportunity gaps are most pronounced, including New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Boston.
The organization offers programs aimed at middle and high school students to provide them with digital entrepreneurial skills. Build hopes to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating a fair competitive environment that enables students to build pathways to success.
Ivy Beauty’s contributions included donations in the form of product and $20,000 to support the students attending the annual Build Fest NYC event, held on June 5. In honor of the holiday, the initiative aims to support underserved communities, enhance lives and commemorate the significance of the day, which underscored the Emancipation Proclamation 159 years ago.
The monetary donation will fund essential resources, materials, and logistical support for the event’s success. The product donation will provide students with beauty products that aim to enhance their personal and professional development. These efforts aim to impact over 770 students, primarily from low-income backgrounds who are racially and ethnically underrepresented in higher education.
Pamela Minetti, Director of Philanthropy from Build NYC, said, “For the past two years, Ivy Beauty has made a generous gift to Build NYC in honor of Juneteenth. Together, we can ignite the power of youth in under-resourced communities and help them become the CEOs of their lives.”
