At the end of season four, Issa Dee (played by Issa Rae) was faced with the difficult decision of whether to drop it all and move to San Francisco with boyfriend Lawrence Walker (Jay Ellis). However, a surprise twist left her debating the future of their relationship, despite viewers believing she will stay by his side and make the move.

However, while she was deciding whether to move in with Lawrence, Condola dropped the stunning news that she was pregnant with his baby.
Many fans believed that this was enough for Issa to cut things off and continue living single in Los Angeles, while others believed she would make the move.
Lawrence and Issa dated 10 years before their split in season one and now they were happy in their careers, they could be happy together.
Although he was expecting a child with his ex, the couple would be moving to San Francisco so Issa wouldn’t always have to face Condola.
For her job as a cultural curator, she could work successfully from her new home on planning another block party.
She would also still have her friendship group to support her when she needed someone to check out a venue or when she needed a place to crash to do it herself.
Thankfully, production is complete for season five, so fans can expect to hear Issa’s decision in 2022.
