This week we will take a look inside this renovated house near Olmos Park.

More and more people want to move to San Antonio in 2023. (Especially from Austin!) But rents in San Antonio aren’t going down. From finding your perfect new home to negotiating rental rates, finding an apartment in San Antonio can be a very special experience. Taking inspiration from our San Francisco sister publication, SFGate, MySA examines local real estate that showcases the best, the worst, and everything in between, right here in Alamo City. Let’s guess the rent.

Last week’s Guess the Rent entry seems to be a hit with our loyal readers. Was it the “built in an old meat factory” aspect of the loft on the east side? Perhaps. This week’s entry isn’t in an old factory, but in a modernized, three-bedroom, ranch-style home that was built over 70 years ago.

The listing features “pristine floors” and modern fixtures and fittings in this 1951 home, according to Bexar County property records. Located at 406 Clower St., San Antonio, TX 78219, the home is also close to Olmos Park, which is filled with San Antonio restaurants like Krazy Katsu and A Way to the Heart. With all the updates, one has to wonder what that means for the rental price.
