Popular local burger chain Gott’s Roadside is opening its second location in San Francisco this month, right next to the Chase Center.
“We’ve been eyeing Mission Bay as a neighborhood for several years because it’s the fastest growing neighborhood in San Francisco,” Clay Walker, president of Gott’s Roadside, said in a press release. “While Gott’s typically likes to push into more mature markets and add value where there’s already an audience, we’re very flattered and honored to be a part of the biggest development in San Francisco in the last decade.”

The 4,000-square-foot new restaurant is located in Thrive City, the plaza surrounding the Chase Center. It features an outdoor space and an Airstream trailer that serves beer and wine and is a roadside stand that pays tribute to God’s roots. The menu features all of Gott’s classics, including the California burger with fried eggs, the kimchi burger, and crispy ahi poke tacos. There are also some Chase Center specials planned for Warriors fans, such as: B. Soft ice cream cones with blue and gold sprinkles.
Gott’s Mission Bay is slated to open September 17, making it the restaurant’s seventh location in the Bay Area, not including the restaurant’s outpost at San Francisco International Airport, which Gott’s website lists as temporarily closed.
Brothers Joel and Duncan Gott opened the first Gott’s Roadside in St. Helena in 1999, serving California-inspired fare using seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients.
