Fremont House To The Happiest Residents In U.S. – CBS San Francisco
FREMONT (CBS SF) – There was a time when Fremont was best known as the home of the Tesla plant, but it may also be the happiest place to live in America, according to a new poll.
At least according to the experts at Wallethub – a credit reporting service that gathered information from various surveys to determine which of the more than 180 of the largest US cities have the happiest people in America.

According to Wallethub, Fremont is the happiest place in the entire county – a rather strange name given that Fremont is in Alameda County, which, alongside Santa Clara County and the Los Angeles area, has seen the largest brain drain since the pandemic began after California Policy Lab.

The Fremont credit bureau is the country’s top city for emotional and physical wellbeing, fifth for community and environment, and 46th for income – likely thanks to Tesla.
San Jose, located in the heart of Santa Clara County in Silicon Valley, also made the top five. Two cities in North Dakota – Fargo and Bismarck – ranked 2nd and 3rd – and Madison, Wisconsin ranked 4th.

Santa Rosa was ranked 10th on the list, with San Francisco finishing 13th out of the city despite an emotional and physical wellbeing rating.
