* WHAT … Freezing temperatures as low as 31 expected.
* WHERE…North Bay Interior Valleys, Eastern Santa Clara Hills,
Southern Salinas Valley, Arroyo Seco and Lake San Antonio,
Santa Lucia Mountains and Los Padres National Forest and
Mountains of San Benito and Interior Monterey County including
Pinnacles National Park.
* WHEN…Thursday from 2am to 9am PST.
* EFFECTS…Freezing and freezing conditions will kill crops and others
sensitive vegetation and may damage outdoors if left unprotected

Take measures now to protect tender plants from the cold. Impede
Freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes should
wrapped, drained or slowly drained. Those who have
Underground sprinkler systems should drain and cover over them.
Earth pipes to protect them from freezing.
