In the ongoing battle for what’s better between Texas and California, Texas real estate is unbeatable.
When it comes to your money, we made the decision to compare the holy cities of San Antonio to San Francisco. To get a good snapshot, we decided to use a base value of $ 299,000, which, according to the San Antonio Board of Realtors, is between the San Antonio median ($ 268,500) and the average house price ($ 316,971) in March.
Although the City by the Bay is famous (or infamous) for its sky-high prices, there is still real estate around the cutoff of $ 299,000. So below is a comparison of a $ 299,000 condo in San Francisco and a $ 297,000 home on the far west side of San Antonio.
The final result? Shoppers may be California dreamers, but they will get a lot more space in the Alamo City.
