Dr. Issa Eshima has 36 years of cosmetic surgery experience after graduating from the University of California School of Medicine in 1984. He has since been affiliated with several prestigious medical institutions and practices and currently works with the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital.

Before joining Saint Francis, Dr. Eshima started his residency at the Bellevue Hospital Center. During this time, Dr. Eshima shared his passion for cosmetic and plastic surgery, where he could work towards becoming a leading expert in reconstructive surgery. Like many other applauded plastic surgeons in the industry, Dr. Eshima member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

In addition, Dr. Eshima has been involved in a number of different publications in the field of cosmetic surgery and practice. He was a major contributor to a paper titled “The Role of Plastic Surgery in Treating Malignant Melanoma,” which looked at how plastic surgery can play a critical role in the treatment of skin cancer. He was also involved in another article called “Combined Muscle Flap and Ilizarov Reconstruction for Bone and Soft Tissue Defects”. The study consisted of 36 patients treated with Ilizarov reconstruction methods.
