ALBERT DIMMINGER Obituary – So. San Francisco, CA

Albert John Dimminger Resident of So. San Francisco Entered into rest on January 7, 2010 at the age of 89. Born in Koblentz, Germany and long time resident of South San Francisco. Beloved husband of the late Lena Dimminger for 53 years. Loving father of Laurel (Brian Connor) Trask and the grandfather of Sarah Trask. Brother of Leonard Dimminger of Russian River. Veteran of WWII and the Korean War in the US Navy. Retired supervisor of plumbing with the City of San Francisco Port Authority. Al was very creative and handy with wood accomplishing cabinetry, duck decoys, small wooden furniture for doll houses, and even an accomplish painter. He spent some time involved in the Arts Shows in So.SF; showing his paintings. Charter Member of the YMI #32, member of the Plumbers Local #37, past member of the Parks and Recreation Commission, past member of the Arts Commission, member of the So. SF Historical Society and the Plymere House. Friends may visit between 3-6pm, Jan. 9th Sat., Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, So.SF where a Vigil Service will be offered at 5pm. Committal Private.
