Freeze Warning in Impact for Elements of Bay Space – NBC Bay Space

A freeze warning was issued early Thursday for parts of the South Bay, East Bay and North Bay due to freezing temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.
The freeze warning is in effect through 9 a.m. for the North Bay peaks and valleys, the East Bay peaks and valleys, and the Santa Clara Valley and hills, the NWS said.
Temperatures in these areas were expected to drop between 28 and 32 degrees.
Cold conditions will impact vulnerable populations, people with blackouts and pets, the NWS said. It can also kill crops and other delicate plants and potentially damage unprotected outdoor installations.
