Last week’s apartment in Medical Center with the “exquisite” view was the latest in San Antonio apartments that focuses more on amenities than living space. This week we are going to the Northside in a neighborhood known as Thousand Oaks. The listing says this five-bedroom, two-story home is located at 16503 Glen Eve Path, San Antonio, TX 78232. 

The home comes with a luxury amenity and a backyard that is not huge, but well-established and features a covered patio. How much will these amenities spike the rental price, if at all?

Those windows are a natural light-lovers dream.

The living room is one telling feature in a home that sets the vibe of the rest of the home, and those transom windows allow residents to mitigate direct sunlight while still letting natural light in.

This is a massive space dedicated to the kitchen.

The kitchen is large. It comes with a huge island counter, stainless-steel appliances, and recessed lights. The home also has a gas stove and gas water heater. That wood flooring is found throughout the entire home.

The dining room is separate from the living room and kitchen.

A fairly typical dining room, but large enough for a dining table seating six. I would choose a different light fixture. Let’s head upstairs.

The main bedroom has a tray ceiling that opens up the room.

Tray ceilings will really open up a room, as will the natural light from the floor-to-ceiling transom windows. Again, this is only one of five bedrooms. 

Here is the main bathroom that comes with a walk-in shower and a tub.

Yes. The backyard has a hot tub.

We’ll end on the backyard, which has a covered patio and a hot tub for personal use. That does mean more routine maintenance. Now for the rental price. The Craigslist post says the home is $2,700 a month plus a $1,500 deposit. The Craigslist post doesn’t include a phone number, but Zillow lets you schedule a tour.
