Hose

Earlier this month, a video went viral on social media showing a white man aggressively using a hose on a homeless woman sitting on a public sidewalk. After the clip was shared, the man was identified as San Francisco art gallery owner Collier Gwin.

According to San Francisco District Attorney Brook Jenkins, Gwin was arrested on Wednesday (January 18) on a misdemeanor charge. “The alleged battery of an unaccommodated member of our community is totally unacceptable. Mr Gwin will face appropriate consequences for his actions,” the prosecutor said. Footage of the arrest of the gallery owner in police custody also circulated on the Internet. The original video was recorded on January 9 and showed Gwin repeatedly demanding that the woman “move around” in front of his shop. He casually crossed his legs while leaning against a railing while directing the pressurized jet of water at the woman’s torso.

Last week, Gwin, owner of the Foster Gwin Gallery in San Francisco’s Financial District, sat on CBS News trying to apologize and clear his name. “What they saw is very unfortunate,” he shared during the interview. “I feel terrible, not just because I want to get out of trouble or something, but because I tried so hard to help this woman,” he added. Since the video went viral, many in the community have been calling for the gallery owner to be punished. In a clip posted to Twitter, an angry citizen went to Gwin’s gallery and demanded that the businessman hose him down to see what action would follow.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed compared Gwin’s use of the hose to what protesters experienced in the 1960s. “When I saw it, all me [could] think about [was] what happened during the civil rights movement,” Breed told reporters last week. “Unfortunately, this comes at a time when African Americans were fighting for our rights to be seen as equal in this country. Even then, law enforcement and others used water hoses to stop protesters. And it kind of takes us back to that time. And no other human should be able to do that to another human, period. As far as I’m concerned, it’s assault.”

The story goes on

A San Francisco gallery owner caught on video hose-spraying a homeless woman has been arrested and charged, authorities said Wednesday.

Collier Gwin, 71, is facing a misdemeanor charge after he was accused of intentionally and unlawfully spraying water at a woman who was sitting on a sidewalk in front of his gallery, according to San Francisco prosecutors, who have issued an arrest warrant for her issued by Gwin after reviewing evidence from a police investigation.

Gwin was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and booked into a county jail on the warrant. The case remains an open investigation, police said in a statement.

Video of the Jan. 9 incident shows Gwin cross-legged against a fence and hose-housing a homeless woman while she sits outside his shop, the Foster Gwin Gallery in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood.

The woman tries to block the water with her hands as she speaks, but her words are indecipherable.

Gwin stops spraying, points to the street and says, “Hey, just move. Move. Move. Move. ok, are you moving? Are you moving?”

The incident was caught on video and posted on Twitter and TikTok, garnering millions of views and leading to public outcry and a police investigation.

The woman who was sprayed did not seek to press charges against Gwin, according to prosecutors, but prosecutors said on Wednesday that she had enough evidence to proceed.

The woman, known to service providers and homeless officials as “Q,” was hospitalized last week, the San Francisco Chronicle reported, but it was unclear why she was being treated.

After the video went viral, the window in Gwin’s gallery was shattered, according to prosecutors.

“The alleged battery of an unaccommodated member of our community is totally unacceptable. Mr. Gwin will face appropriate consequences for his actions,” Dist said. atty Brooke Jenkins said in a statement. “Similarly, the vandalism at the Foster Gwin Gallery is also unacceptable and must stop – two wrongs make no right.”

Gwin could not be reached for comment on Wednesday. It’s unclear if the gallery space will remain open.

On Monday, ABC7 in San Francisco reported that Gwin apologized for apologizing to the woman days after he said he “found it hard to apologize” for dousing the woman.

“I know it’s very hard to watch. I can only ask others to maybe better understand my breaking point,” Gwin told the news outlet. “I have the video to constantly remind myself that this is a big cross to bear.”

In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle last week, Gwin admitted he splashed water on the woman and claimed she knocked over garbage cans in front of his gallery.

“I said, ‘You have to move; I can’t clean the street; move down,'” Gwin told the Chronicle.

Gwin claimed the woman had become “aggressive” and started spitting up.

“She was so out of control at that point … I hose her down and I’m like, ‘Move, move, I’ll help you,'” he said.

Gwin claimed he had let the woman sleep in the entryway of his gallery on several occasions and contacted police and social services to try to get the woman help, referring to himself as “Champion,” the Chronicle reported.

“So I’m sorry? I’m just sorry that… my way of helping her countless times didn’t work,” Gwin told the Chronicle.

San Francisco Supervisor Aaron Peskin, whose North Beach district is a part of, called the incident a “ruthless attack.”

“My office is well acquainted with the victim and has been trying to get her assistance for many months,” Peskin wrote on Twitter last week from the San Francisco Department of Public Health.

“It’s not North Beach, it’s not who we are as a community + we will not tolerate ‘vigilante’ attacks,” he wrote.

If convicted, Gwin could face up to six months in prison and a $2,000 fine, prosecutors said.

With summer a mere week away, new showrooms are popping up just about everywhere. In our monthly roundup, Business of Home gathers all the expansions and openings to have on your radar.

Showroom spotlight: Rimadesio debuts a North American flagship

Giussano, Italy–based home furnishings brand Rimadesio had been toying with the idea of a US showroom for some time now. But it’s only in the past month that the company has finally been able to bring that dream to fruition with a shining new flagship store in New York’s NoMad district.

For years, Rimadesio’s business model in the States consisted of just one independent rep, Andrea Romano, based in Europe and shuttling back and forth about four times a year to grow the US market. But Romano believed that if the company were to really take off, he would need to establish himself more permanently in America. “In the United States, if you want to do something good [with your business], you have to do it here,” he tells Business of Home. “You have to be here.”

So Rimadesio began scaling its North American distribution network through multiline showrooms, growing from one dealer, to two, to 20. “At that point, I started saying if we wanted to do well in the US, we needed our own showroom,” says Romano.

As Rimadesio started shopping around for a location, it was confronted by the all-too-familiar sky-high price tags of the Manhattan real estate market. Then the pandemic struck. “We had seen this space before COVID, but the money they were asking for was beyond anything we would even think about,” says Romano. “When COVID happened, I said, ‘OK, let’s check again.’ A different real estate agent gave us a lot of options and told me the landlord was open to a conversation about the price. We got it down 37 percent, and I called [owners and brothers Luigi and Davide Malberti] and said that we either do it now—the perfect price point, the right location—or never. A week later, we agreed on the space.”

The new flagship is spread across three floors totaling more than 6,000 square feet—a space that Italian architect took Andrea Pozzoli roughly a year to revamp. Headed by Romano and a team of four, the showroom features the company’s entire product portfolio, from doors and shelving to panels and closets, allowing architects and designers to experience several Rimadesio products working in concert. “Designers can touch and see that Rimadesio goes beyond just a sliding door—they see back paneling, entire walls, passages with furniture,” he says. “All of a sudden, they realize Rimadesio isn’t just one product but a whole system. Not only do you sell more this way, but designers can find real solutions. They look like kids in a toy store. And it’s contagious—they use it in one house, and then another and another. That’s what we’re trying to do here.”

California

In West Hollywood, Soho House’s design retail offshoot, Soho Home, is opening a Soho.Home.Studio location on Melrose Avenue. Spanning more than 9,000 square feet, the two-story studio is the brand’s second to open in the US, and the first on the West Coast. Open to Soho House members only, the space will also feature a selection of work by designer members.

Inside The Palm Court restaurant at RH San FranciscoCourtesy of RH

RH has unveiled a new furniture gallery in San Francisco at Pier 70. Located in the historic Bethlehem Steel Building, the neoclassical facade was finished by artist James Goodman and the adjoining space features the retailer’s suite of furniture, lighting and home accessories, as well as The Palm Court restaurant.

Multidisciplinary creative group Industrial Craft Studio has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in San Francisco’s Mission District. The retail space offers a selection of new and iconic pieces, including furniture and housewares, curated by founder Max Burton and his team of designers.

Swedish design brand Hem has opened its first dedicated West Coast showroom in the Los Angeles Arts District. Reimagined by Hem’s in-house team, the 1,800-plus-square-foot space was once a dumpling factory but now lends its postmodern backdrop to the brand’s array of home furnishings.

Illinois

Luxury mattress company Duxiana, known for its Dux mattress, has just opened a showroom in downtown Chicago at 445 North Wells Street, just two blocks from The Mart. For the prior 15 years, the company’s Midwestern presence was based out of Hubbard Woods, Illinois.

Wallcovering titan Maya Romanoff has announced the opening of its headquarters, studio and showroom in Skokie. Serving the greater Chicago territory, the new location will allow designers to work with the brand’s in-house team, shop its collections and see the manufacturing process firsthand.

Maryland

Luxury design firm McLean and Tircuit has relocated its retail boutique and studio to Laurel’s historic district. The new space will offer a curated shopping experience for custom furnishings, home accessories and gifts in addition to McLean and Tircuit’s interior design services.

Direct-to-consumer furniture retailer Interior Define has opened a new storefront in Baltimore Harbor East. The design studio concept features staged vignettes to introduce a residential feel to the shopping experience.

Massachusetts

Direct-to-consumer furniture and lifestyle brand Burrow has opened a new retail location on Newbury Street in Boston. Following the successful launch of an omnichannel sales approach led by its New York–based storefront, Burrow House Boston is the first of 10 new locations that will open over the next two years as part of the brand’s strategic retail expansion.

New Jersey

Family-run Schwartz Design Showroom has announced the opening of Fulton Street Design Center in Edison. The 12,000-square-foot space will house the Schwartz Design Showroom, the company’s furniture manufacturing partners and a dedicated mezzanine space to showcase fabrics and wallcoverings.

new York

Following its successful launch in Los Angeles, textile manufacturer Kvadrat is now opening a second showroom in New York.

CORTE MADERA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–RH (NYSE: RH) announced today the opening of RH San Francisco, The Gallery at the Historic Bethlehem Steel Building – the crown jewel of Pier 70 and gateway to what was once one of the country’s most storied shipyards. RH San Francisco represents the latest physical expression of the brand and its continued foray into hospitality with The Palm Court Restaurant – a new live-fire concept set within a dramatic atrium of glass and steel with towering Medjool date palms and featuring two Wine Bars at its dual entrances – plus a beautifully landscaped rooftop park with spectacular views of the city skyline, bay and bridge.

Commanding five floors, this unrivaled experience seamlessly integrates luxury home furnishings collections from RH Contemporary, Interiors, Modern and Outdoor with rare art, antiques and artifacts from around the world. Constructed in 1917 and designed in the Classical Revival style by preeminent San Francisco architect Frederick H. Meyer, the landmark building has been meticulously restored and reimagined with great respect for its original vision. RH Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Gary Friedman has revitalized several other iconic buildings across the country, including the former Museum of Natural History in Boston’s Back Bay, the Post Office in Greenwich, Connecticut, and the Historic Three Arts Club in Chicago’s Gold Coast.

“We are both humbled and honored to play a part in the reestablishment of San Francisco’s historic shipyards, and to reimagine the iconic Bethlehem Steel Building into a place open to the public for the very first time,” said Mr. Friedman. “This was a rare opportunity to do what we love, in a city that we love and call our home.”

The monumental structure sits proudly on the corner of Illinois and 20th Streets, with elegant neoclassical architecture that has been artistically refinished by the famed Bay Area artist and color authority James Goodman. Entering through bespoke hand-forged iron gates graced with intricate scrollwork and gilded acanthus leaves, guests pass through an intimate vestibule with trickling wall fountains and antique urns that opens into a rare octagonal lobby with original rose marble floors, cast-stone walls and a meticulously restored plastered ornamental ceiling by Manuel Palos.

Architecturally integrated to form a new center core of the building, guests will discover The Palm Court Restaurant, a live-fire dining experience featuring a monolithic marble cooking hearth flanked by custom Molteni rotisseries from France.

Sitting beneath a dramatic atrium, this year-round skylit escape recalls the glamor of San Francisco’s Gilded Age – a stunning statement space featuring structural steelwork inspired by the former shipyard, towering Medjool date palms and a cascading center fountain sculpted of Calacatta gold marble.

Situated off each entrance to The Palm Court Restaurant, two luminous Wine Bars serve exceptional champagnes and wines from around the world for visitors to enjoy in adjacent lounge seating or while exploring the Gallery – including 40 wines by the glass and limited production offerings from Napa Valley’s renowned small vintners.

Extending down each wing of the Gallery from the lobby, two corridors with walls of soaring white Colorado marble bisect a classical arrangement of rooms. Here, visitors will discover a full floor dedicated to an exclusive preview of RH Contemporary in advance of its spring 2022 debut. Reflecting the brand’s evolving aesthetic with a minimalist design language that defines the moment, the unprecedented collection occupies the space between RH Interiors and RH Modern, highlighting the work of celebrated designers worldwide.

With a striking elliptical passageway off the lobby, the original stair rotunda provides access to level two. Upon arrival, guests will discover RH Interiors – an homage to refined design across the ages. Seamlessly extending from the original, a new grand spiraling staircase connects levels three and four. Natural light flows from a circular skylight two above floors while a spectacular, thirteen-tier Serenella chandelier suspended from its center point further illuminates the way.

Once the studio of naval architects and master draftsmen who designed some of the nation’s most legendary ships, level three now hosts a 10,000-square-foot open exhibition space set against walls of matte limestone plaster showcasing RH Modern – the largest fully integrated assortment of modern furniture, lighting, textiles and décor under one brand in the world.

At the top of the grand stair, visitors will arrive at the Rooftop Park. The immersive garden space is first experienced within a vestibule marked by retractable glass walls that open onto a beautifully landscaped park framing panoramic views of San Francisco Bay and the downtown skyline. Influenced by the great parterre gardens of the French Renaissance, the destination encompasses a series of intimate RH outdoor lounge spaces defined by a layered composition of trellised London plane trees, sculptural evergreens and the sound of trickling fountains.

Occupying the entire lower level is an RH Interior Design Firm & Atelier – at 10,000 square feet, the brand’s largest to date. Providing an unparalleled level of professional design services, this interactive studio includes private client presentation rooms with state-of-the-art technology, an RH Rugs showroom presenting an exclusive collection distinguished by its superlative artistry and exquisite materials, design libraries dedicated to a vast Assortment of textiles and furniture and lighting finishes, and an elegant jewel-box gallery showcasing bath and cabinet hardware designs.

RH San Francisco is located at 590 20th Street and offers valet parking. The Gallery can be reached at 415.865.0407. Hours of operation are 10am to 9pm daily.

Trader Vic looking for an apartment on site?

Trader Vic’s has started exploring buildings on the grounds of their fabled restaurant City of Emeryville November Progress Report. City planners met with the owners of Trader Vic on the property in November to discuss a potential housing project. Your design team has now also met online to discuss various development options.

The plans are preliminary and no documents have been officially submitted, but initial indications suggest that the restaurant area would not be maintained in its current form. “As far as I understand, the restaurant building would not be preserved,” noted a city contact. The Emeryville site is an extension of the original location on San Pablo Avenue and is still run by the Bergeron family.

Trader Vic’s has worked hard to adapt amid a challenging business climate exacerbated by the pandemic. They tried to maximize their kitchen space by creating a take-away Mexican spin-off called. have integrated Senor Picos. This endeavor was short-lived.

Full-service no-chain restaurants are a dying breed in Emeryville, and the few who have tried have quickly failed, including within the city 612One and Yuzu ramen.

Representatives from the restaurant did not respond to our request to clarify their long-term plans.

Hidden place for hometown heroes

The Hometown Heroes sports bar has a new kitchen tenant that we didn’t report on EvilleEye.com. Hidden Spot announced it would take over the kitchen that was previously occupied by the Populars Likha Filipino Food about a year ago.

Hidden Spot also operates a location in South San Francisco that serves burgers, sandwiches, and wings.

Compound Gallery “Expanding” to Emeryville

North Oakland’s Compound Gallery has found a new home for their gallery space just across the border in Emeryville. The building at 1339 61st Street has lived many lives lately as an enterprise software company called relola.

They announced the move to a December 6th Instagram post after completing their tenancy. “It was a really crazy time for us and we struggled to find a way to keep the gallery alive and thriving in the future. First two years of global pandemic, then landlords fighting. “

They then explained the various challenges they faced, including resignation and legal threats. “After a crazy search, we were able to find a building that we’ve had our eyes on for a while.”

“Our extensive main facilities and studios will remain in Oakland, but the new building will house the gallery, a community printing facility (specializing in book printing – including etching and screen printing), an art shop, an art academy, and the @hifructosemag Micro Mega Store! “

Compound expressed relief and optimism about the future of their Emeryville business. “We are also very happy about the move to Emeryville and have already been welcomed wonderfully by the city.”

All stores in the Bay Bridge Shopping Center on Christie Avenue have been officially vacated and the property has been fenced off. Wells Fargo, Allegro Ballroom, EmeryBay Cafe, and Copy Central have all either closed or moved. Denny’s and 76 gas stations will remain open and are currently not part of the redevelopment plans.

Oxford properties acquired the mall already in August with the intention of building a “mixed-use” project. Oxford has put forward a proposal that will be considered by the Planning Commission at a scheduled study meeting on January 27th.

“I love her. How can you not love her?”

Like a hummingbird that flits from photo to photo while she drives me with her enthusiasm, Jane Corkin leads me personally through an exhibition by Irving Penn, right in her gallery of the same name.

Her bespectacled brio is always in place, even over the years (it’s been nearly four decades since Macleans Magazine named her the “First Lady of Photography”). Also the pluck of the Mary Richards vintage or possibly the “wonderful Mrs. Maisel”. Corkin is a one-woman advertisement for this saying: Do something you love and you will not work a day in your life.

A hero of the art world in Toronto and beyond – one of the few people on the continent who really promoted photography as a medium long before anyone else got on that artistic train – Corkin seems like a charm for the fourth time. At least when it comes to the legendary Lensman Penn. “I had previously done three exhibitions of his work,” she says and actually knew him personally from her visits to his Manhattan studio. This latest retrospective? The first since his death in 2009. It was time.

These lines. These silhouettes. That studied rigor.

The rugged beauty of the work is welcome at this cruel time of the year – his work as a portraitist is so synonymous with Vogue that the magazine’s legendary editor Anna Wintour dedicated the entire July 2007 issue to him on the occasion of his 90th birthday (Riffing about his 66 years with the magazine and its unprecedented 165 covers!). Later Penn’s last assignment in his pages? A famous dark-spotted banana still life for a story about the signs of aging.

“As a little girl, I always looked at his photos. I would rip them out of the magazine. I didn’t know the name Penn, but I knew the job, “Corkin began to say, remembering her young self who had grown up in Boston (many years before she began a love affair with Canada after attending Queen’s University, and spruced up her photography when she got a job at the David Mirvish Gallery in Toronto in the 1970s).

Did young Jane hang these cut-ups on her bedroom walls? I ask.

“I put them in files,” laughs the Gallerista. “I was very organized.”

In particular, she remembers the last six pages of Vogue that were once the exclusive province of Penn – a kind of charter – when he was first wooed to join the magazine by the legendary Condé Nast-Honcho Alexander Liberman. These pages were a lively mix that had nothing to do with his commercial commitments and often featured his so-called “Small Trades” photos – an oeuvre dedicated to workers, street vendors and artisans. Many of them are now being incorporated into the Toronto exhibition.

Parking attendant. Train coach-waiters. Tender blast furnace. Sandblaster. Chimney sweeper. Window cleaner. Balloon seller. The titles attached to these particular images – all of calm dignity and glamorous in their own way – speak for themselves. They go very well with some of the more outwardly fashion-oriented photos that they hang next to in many cases here in the Corkin Gallery; also in dialogue with the hippie photos from San Francisco from the 1960s, which make up a third of this exhibition.

“He was absolutely an anthropologist,” says Corkin, straightening up in her indigo blue Fluevog booties.

Zicky, then jagged, we finally end up on a picture of Lisa Fonssagrives, the Swedish eye-catcher who is often referred to as the “first supermodel”. Penn got so obsessed after capturing her for a Vogue distribution in 1947 that he married the woman. They were together until their death in the 1990s. There is only one photo of her here (“Cocoa-colored Balenciaga dress” reads the caption) and it reminds of what I’ve read about her: how her knowledge of the camera and her training as a dancer her poses with A special grace ; how she saw herself as a moving sculpture; how much he influenced her and she influenced him. A creative partnership that has lasted for decades, if it ever existed.

Has Penn ever attended any of his previous exhibitions curated by Corkin? Back to her first groundbreaking exhibition in the 1980s, in her first art space in a former shoe factory on Front Street (the first gallery to open outside of Yorkville, here in town)? I wondered.

The answer: yes and no.

“He didn’t like openings. He was a quiet man dedicated to his craft, ”she says. But once, eons ago, the master slipped to Toronto without further ado, visited the exhibition and only later informed Corkin by handwritten note that he had been there at all and was grateful. elusive!

“I am amazed at how people continue to react to his work; People of all ages, from the 80s to the 20s and 30s, ”she adds, turning back to this current collective term. “The children of former customers are coming in now … and are interested in an acquisition. Penn is really timeless. It doesn’t get old. “

The last exhibition that San Francisco dealer Jessica Silverman put on was a solo exhibition by artist Isaac Julien. It was open for exactly one day, March 13, 2020, before the Covid-19 pandemic forced the United States and much of the world into lockdown. Now, over a year later, Silverman is ready to open their next show, this time in a brand new and much larger space in historic Chinatown.

Jessica Silverman Gallery has established itself as one of the country’s leading galleries in its thirteenth year, representing established artists such as Julien, Judy Chicago and Andrea Bowers, as well as emerging stars such as Matthew Angelo Harrison, Sadie Barnette and Woody De Othello. “I firmly believe in going slowly and focusing and staying on the right track where you want to be,” Silverman told ARTnews. “That’s how I work with our artists. I am not interested in the quick burn. I am interested in the long career. “

The new Jessica Silverman Gallery is located at 621 Grant Avenue, across from the city’s famous Old Saint Mary’s Cathedral. It’s 5,000 square feet – almost twice the size of the previous room – with a private viewing room on the mezzanine and 18 foot ceilings. The space was designed by Abigail Turin, co-founder of Kallos Turin, an architecture firm based in London and San Francisco. Two commissioned works by gallery artists will also be shown: a tile wall piece for the bathroom on the ground floor by Claudia Wieser and a cherry wood door for the viewing room by Julian Hoeber.

“There is an experimental moment when you take in the volume of space and leave the street behind while you are inside and focus on the art,” said Silverman. “The space is really for my artists and my clients. I wanted to think about how we can accommodate their needs in this room. I’m excited to see the kind of exhibitions we can do here – being ambitious is definitely something I really want to push forward. “

The gallery is currently showing a solo exhibition of works by Clare Rojas, a kind of gentle opening, before the first group show “We Are Here” opens on May 27th. This exhibition will include work by gallery artists such as Julien, Bowers, Conrad, Egyir and Matt Lipps, as well as a few other artists the gallery does not currently represent, including Hernan Bas and Lam Tung-Pang, but who will have solo shows at the gallery in 2022.

“The show is a way of saying, ‘This is the place to be,’ without explicitly mentioning it – it’s a location finder,” said Silverman. “The topic is present and to be here.”

After starting a two-year project space, Silverman founded her gallery in 2008 and opened a space in the Dog Patch neighborhood of San Francisco. It unveiled its latest location in the Tenderloin district in 2013, but felt that it had outgrown that space about three years ago. At that point, she was looking for a bigger one in San Francisco.

She was eventually introduced to Betty Louie, a Sino-American community leader and real estate owner. The two walked around Chinatown, and Louie gave Silverman the location of the land. “Betty has a very forward-thinking approach to what she wants from Chinatown,” said Silverman. The dealer found the new location in autumn 2019 and started the renovation in February 2020. The opening was planned for the summer – and then the pandemic.

Silverman said because she is moving to such a historic neighborhood – it’s the oldest and largest Chinatown in the country – she feels it is important to act as a good neighbor to the community’s long-time residents and businesses. She hopes the gallery can later work with the San Francisco Chinese Cultural Center, a nonprofit organization just blocks away, on programming.

The CCC provided the gallery with a list of local businesses run by community members for support. In addition, Silverman and her team are working on a 1 mile (1.6 km) walk through Chinatown that gallery visitors can take to visit other local businesses in the neighborhood. “I’m trying to create a support system with my colleagues and neighbors,” said Silverman. “I hope we become a place they come when they need things too, so it works both ways.”

In January, the Gagosian mega-gallery confirmed it had closed its San Francisco location. But Silverman said she feels obliged to run an internationally influential gallery in San Francisco for the years to come – she signed a 12-year lease for the Chinatown space. She added, “At the end of Gagosian’s closure [here]People may think you can’t do what we do here in San Francisco. You can and we do – well. To do what we are good at, slow walking and specificity are the keys to our success. “
