This week we are looking at these fairly new townhome-style apartments that are just north of La Cantera in the Hill Country.

We’re sticking to the Far Northside this week and looking at an area that’s not too far from the Stone Oak apartment we looked at last week. However, this week’s one-bedroom unit is in a fairly new complex north of La Cantera that offers townhome-style apartments and straddles the line of luxury and Hill Country living with plenty of amenities. 

This one-bedroom apartment is at the Arbolada at La Cantera located at 19479 Babcock Road, San Antonio, TX 78255. Living here would put you around 10 minutes from the Shops at La Cantera and The Rim across I-10. Does this location add to the rent price?

This is a large kitchen for a one-bedroom apartment.

We’ll start in the kitchen, which seems pretty large for an apartment that is 706 square-feet. It comes with standard stainless steel appliances with hanging pendant and recessed can lights. 

The kitchen blends into the living room because of the open concept.

The living room for this unit looks comfy enough but it will really depend on how you furnish this space. You can make out the high ceilings in this photo along with wood panel flooring.

The bedrooms come with a ceiling fan. The window could be a little larger but natural light is a plus.

Bedrooms should always have bigger windows, but this single window works. The bedrooms come with a ceiling fan to keep the air moving. 

These walk-in showers with subway tile are being seen more and more in modern apartments.

The bathroom is minimal with its style, the walk-in shower, and white subway tile. Everything else is pretty standard, which is not a bad thing when it comes to a bathroom.

So how much does it cost per month? The Craigslist post says the unit costs $1,540 per month. However, the person who posted the listing is offering two months free.
