The commercial reuse program will provide 500 to 200 restaurants to transition from single-use food to more sustainable practices.

Enrolled businesses will work with the SF Department of the Environment to assess their current practices and receive support in transitioning to reusable products, including incorporating wash and bus trips into their restaurants.

The program builds on a pilot program launched in 2019 that helped 120 companies transition to reusable dining systems.
