Money App founder stabbed to demise, San Francisco police say

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – The founder of mobile payments service Cash App died early Tuesday morning after an apparent knife attack near downtown San Francisco, and police are asking the public for more information.
Bob Lee, 43, was an executive at cryptocurrency company MobileCoin.

At approximately 2:35 am, officers were called to the 400 block of Main Street after receiving reports of a stabbing in the area. Officers determined that Lee was apparently suffering from stab wounds.
Lee received first aid from officers and emergency responders before being rushed to a local hospital. He later died from his injuries.

No arrests were made, nor was a description of a suspect released.
Police are investigating this incident as a homicide.
