(KRON) — The South San Francisco Police Department arrested a Hayward man for allegedly robbing and kidnapping a San Francisco business on Thursday.
On March 15, South San Francisco police officers and detectives investigated an armed robbery and kidnapping that occurred at a business on the 100 block of Terminal Court.
According to police, a man threatened the business with a gun before bounding the employees of the business. The man then forced them into a room before stealing a “substantial” amount of cash and fleeing the scene, police said.
Through investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Carlos Gonzalez, 37, of Hayward.
On Tuesday, detectives obtained a search warrant for Gonzalez’s neighborhood in Hayward. Gonzalez was under arrest for robbery and kidnapping. He was later booked into the San Mateo County Jail, police said.
