As a beauty editor, I’m lucky enough that I get to try the newest and most acclaimed beauty products in the industry—and that includes crazy-expensive serums. Serums are often dubbed the powerhouses of our skincare routines by skin experts and dermatologists. Their water-like consistency penetrates the skin well, and they’re usually packed with a good concentration of ingredients that kickstart hydration, radiance and plumpness, to name but a few of the skin-boosting benefits. So, when I’m thinking about dropping money on my skincare routine, I’m inclined to invest a little more on this step.
There are a number of investment serums that I think are worth it. SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum (£165) for instance, is a product that I cherish down to the very last drop because it imparts radiance and clearer skin in equal measure—there is nothing else that delivers results like it for my skin. And whilst Dr Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Acid Serum (£250) makes my skin glow, it also makes my bank account wince. If it were not for my job giving me access to test and review these products for free, I could never justify spending these amounts on my skincare routine.
Who What Wear UK beauty editor Eleanor Vousden is a fan of Beauty Pie’s Triple Hyaluronic Acid Lipopeptide Serum.
That’s why I adore an affordable serum that is just as good as its expensive counterparts. I’ve long been a fan of Beauty Pie’s concept (and its best-selling products), but there’s one serum that I can’t get enough of for its transformative effects. So much so, I’ve just finished my third bottle. Enter, Beauty Pie Triple Hyaluronic Acid Lipopeptide Serum (£24).
Beauty Pie Triple Hyaluronic Acid Lipoeptide Serum Review
Vousden is on her fourth bottle of Beauty Pie’s Triple Hyaluronic Acid Lipopeptide Serum.
Those who are already acquainted with Beauty Pie will know that the company essentially creates luxury products without the markup you’d get from other brands, who pass on the costs of things like retail overheads, marketing, celebrity ambassadors and the like. Instead, Beauty Pie forgoes all this, giving the savings directly on to you, the consumer, by way of much lower prices. You unlock access to these affordable rates by paying a Beauty Pie membership.
In the case of Triple Hyaluronic Acid Lipopeptide Serum, it would typically cost £90 at market value, but members can access it a very reasonable £24 for a 50ml bottle. And I can hand-on-heart say that this serum really works.

Beauty Pie gave it’s formulators a brief to produce an elite hyaluronic acid serum, without scrimping on the budget for top-tier ingredients. The result? An efficacious serum that instantly plumps and hydrates the skin. And the results really are instantaneous. I have combination skin that’s prone to sensitivity and dehydration, and I’ve never tried a serum that has hydrated my skin as much as this.
The magic of the serum is the three weights of hyaluronic acid that it contains (which each hydrate the skin at different levels), the skin-barrier boosting pro-ceramides and a duo of plumping ingredients: polysaccharides and peptides. These work in tandem to plump everything up and make the skin look and feel bouncy whilst imparting a hydrated glow.
After using Beauty Pie Triple Hyaluronic Acid Lipopeptide Serum for a month.
The best part is that the results keep getting better and better. When I use this consistently, my skin glows, dehydration lines are plumped and my face feels bouncy. Makeup glides on and I can enjoy the hydrating and plumping effects all day long. In fact, I took a break from using it recently and saw a noticeable difference as my dehydration lines returned—so I promptly ordered another bottle.
Apparently, loyal customers buy multiple bottles of the serum when it’s available, so if you’re after one, you’d do well to move quickly whilst it’s in stock. And Beauty Pie has some other incredible serums in its range, too. Scroll ahead to shop the best Beauty Pie serums I rate alongside the Triple Hyaluronic Acid Lipopeptide Serum.

If you’re looking to invest, this hydrating and plumping hyaluronic acid serum comes highly recommended by beauty editors. It contains both high and low weight molecules of hyaluronic acid which work at different levels in the skin surface to leave your complexion feeling plumped and hydrated. It’s a great serum for any skin type.
Skinceuticals
C E Ferulic Serum
SkinCeutical’s C E Ferulic serum is the GOAT. It makes my skin glow unlike anything else, thanks to the combination of vitamin C, E and ferulic acid which act as antioxidants to shield the skin against environmental aggressors that contribute to general skin ageing. It’s expensive, but worth every drop.
